Chuck Owen

CEO, President, & Co-Founder

Chuck is a former hospital CEO and Regional Vice President for a large hospital management company. His hospital operations background knowledge gives us a unique understanding of our hospital clients and a perspective not enjoyed by all ASC companies.

Chuck has over 35 years of healthcare leadership experience. Prior to co-founding HVP in 2003, Chuck served as a Regional Vice President for Quorum Health Resources (QHR), the nation’s largest hospital management company. From 1992-2003 he served in a wide range of multi-facility management roles for QHR and in 1995 led the start-up and development of QHR’s Physician Services Division as Chief Operating Officer. This division had practice management and consulting responsibility for over 300 physician practices from South Carolina to Nevada.  Chuck has an extensive background in hospital and academic medical center operations for organizations ranging in size from 50-800 beds. He has been successful providing leadership to CEO’s, senior administrative staff, boards of trustees and physicians on key strategic planning, operational and financial initiatives.
